Ian Clarke BA(Hons) Dipl. Arch RIBA FRSA

Ian Clarke joined the practice following graduation from Sheffield University School of Architecture in 1990 with Distinction in Design, where he also received the RIBA Dissertation Prize and a travel scholarship to Scandinavia. His work is centred around hands-on, detailed scheme development, predominantly with end user clients, from project inception to completion.

He leads the practice's work in the healthcare sector, where clients range from NHS Trusts, national and local hospice charities, individual GP practices and contractors. The practice's work in this field has been recognised by a number of awards, and clients also include CABE, Future Healthcare Network and NHS Estates, where he is a member of the Design Review Panel and its Steering Group.

Additionally Ian has been involved in numerous community and church projects, and is Church Architect to several north east parishes. He enjoys occasional teaching involvement at the University of Northumbria Department of the Built Environment.
